Misted or broken double glazing doesn't mean you need new windows. In the majority of cases, only the sealed glass unit needs to be replaced — not the UPVC frame. We measure, order and fit replacement sealed units to standard and non-standard sizes, using A-rated energy-efficient glass as standard. The result is clear, properly insulating windows at a fraction of replacement cost.

Frequently Asked Questions
My double glazing is misted — do I need new windows?
No — misting means the seal on the sealed unit has failed, allowing moisture in. In most cases we can replace just the glass unit (not the whole window), which is much more affordable. The UPVC frame is usually perfectly fine and can be reused.
How long does it take to replace a sealed unit?
We measure the unit on the first visit, order it to the exact size, and return to fit it — usually within a few days. Emergency temporary boarding is available if you have a broken window that's a security risk.
What is A-rated glass?
A-rated glass meets the highest energy efficiency standards for windows. It has a special low-emissivity coating that keeps heat inside your home while allowing light in. We fit A-rated units as standard.
Can you replace glass in any UPVC window?
We can replace glass in the vast majority of standard UPVC window frames. We'll measure carefully on our initial visit to ensure the replacement unit is a perfect fit.
